ActionStep

Mitimes automatically indexes the matters and participants for an organisation. This is done using permissions granted by a specific user. The nominated user should have access to all matters in the organisations ActionStep account.

Mitimes will sync all ActionStep data for all companies every 23rd minute in the UTC timezone. In Adelaide, that is every 53rd minute. Please note – when the background task user is changed or re-provides permissions (if revoked etc) Mitimes will do an immediate sync to ActionStep.

Rates

Rate labels are defined globally (the Default rate) along with a dollar amount, but each can be configured with a different overriding amounts at:

  • the Matter,
  • the Client (unsupported),
  • or Timekeeper (unsupported).

Rate amounts can be defined as:

  • per-hour – the default,
  • fixed – meaning the rate is the total billed flat rate,
  • custom (unsupported) – the user has to provide the rate.

It’s important to note, that the rate label which is selected is a distinct step from the calculation of that rates amount. Mitimes will only retrieve the first 200 active rates from ActionStep.
