Overview
- Set up two-factor authentication (2FA) by installing an authenticator app on your mobile device, and following the steps in Mitimes to complete the process.
- You can set up 2FA on a smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer.
Two factor Authentication is an electronic authentication method in which a user is granted access to a website or application only after successfully presenting two or more pieces of evidence to an authentication mechanism.

To set up 2FA, you’ll need to access your Mitimes using a web browser. You can’t set up 2FA using your mobile device.
- Go to the Mitimes login screen.
- Enter your email address and password, then click Log in.
- Click on the hamburger menu at the top right of your screen.
- Select My Profile.
- Select the My Details tab on the My Profile screen.
- Click to Enable 2FA in the right column of this screen.

When you log onto Mitimes go to the mamburger menu at the top right of your screen.
