Email and Calendar Setup

To switch servers you need to go to ‘My Profile’, click the Office 365 TAB and select the MS Graph ‘Organisation Server’

Once selected click on ‘Link & grant permissions’

Alternatively, your IT/Admin may have switched you over to the new server and you will then skip steps 1 & 2 and be prompted to provide permissions in your timesheet.

Users will be redirected to Microsoft Office Online and shown permissions that we ask for at the user level. (Unless the IT admin has pre-approved the organisation & then you will only see the “Accept” button).

For new users, their contacts will begin syncing immediately. Their timesheet will show when this is done, after which, any new emails/appointments will appear.

  1. For users who were previously on a non MS Graph setup, we will skip the contacts which should already be synced, and immediately start picking up emails and appointments.

Further status can be seen under My Profile in the “Email/Calendar” tab.

If Teams Calling already enabled

Just a quick note… for those Clients on MS Teams transitioning over to MS Graph, we need you to follow some special instructions since your users will need to disconnect/reconnect.

MS Teams, while accessed via MS Graph, did not turn on MS Graph for anything else. Subsequently you still need to either create a new O365 or click on ‘Switch to MS Graph’.

Your users (who have been using Teams Calls) then need to go into ‘My Profile’,  https://mitimes.com/my_profile/exchange_profile/edit , click ‘disconnect’ and then ‘link & grant permissions’ afterwards.

Users who did not have teams calls enabled can either click on the red banner on their timesheet or go through ‘My Profile’ to grant access.
